Punctuation marks change meaning, of course – you can change just one word, one statement, with your tone, your meaning, just with the right punctuation mark. Your attitude is suddenly viewed in a different light, your approach, different.
So let’s talk about the word COLD.
Cold? Cold??! Cold! Cold. Cold…
It really isn’t that cold here. It’s practically summerish?
It’s also a lovely day out today. We had the SUN.
A properly, super nice day. I still didn’t run. I find it such a challenge even bundling up to try and head out – there are nice trails out there and I really need to get moving, primarily because I am down for the Spartan Trifecta.
Dang, I am worried.
Back in 2012/13 running was an escape – I found it to be an excellent release from everything else, and loved it – but got, well, distracted.
I applaud each and every one of you out there who somehow find the time and discipline to put on your shoes, to go and clock the mileage. I am going to need your help with nagging. First race is in May – not difficult, really, but I do recognise the need for me to keep going at it. I don’t know how on earth I was actually able to do close to a sub hour 10 km – not going to try. It hurts.
And, new excuses today.
Anyhow, NEW DAY, WEEK tomorrow. I am just trying to get my head around today. Till then… I shall try to keep away from tables.
